§ 2-5005. EMPLOYEES WITH STATUS UNDER PRIOR ORDINANCE.

All provisional employees of the County who may have been granted status as permanent Civil Service employees or as probationary Civil Service employees pursuant to Ordinance No. 698 adopted April 1, 1957, entitled "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 518 ½, as Amended, Being an Ordinance Creating and Establishing a Merit System for Said County Pursuant to the County Civil Service Enabling Act", which ordinance is hereby repealed, and the rules of the Civil Service Commission adopted thereunder, shall retain their status subject to being discharged, reduced, promoted, or transferred in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 518 ½ as amended.
