§ 2-7002. REGULATIONS OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR.

The County Administrator shall prescribe rules and regulations subject to the approval of the Board which:

(a)

Define the use of County-owned automobiles which constitutes use in the conduct of County business and distinguish that use from misappropriation for private use.

(b)

Prescribe the procedure for determining and collecting from the officer or employee responsible for misuse the actual costs to the County attributable to misuse of County-owned automobiles and the disposition of those collections.

(c)

Prescribe the records and reports to be kept and made by County departments and department heads relating to the use of County-owned automobiles to the end that misuse may be discovered with a minimum of record keeping.

(d)

Govern the use and storage of County-owned automobiles.
