§ 4-1042. POSTING REQUIREMENTS.

Street numbers shall be posted in the following manner:
(a)

Street numbers shall be conspicuously posted on each main building, as determined by the Community Development Department, in the unincorporated area of San Joaquin County.

(b)

Where the street numbers on a building would not be visible from the street, the number may be posted on an independent structure such as a post, adjacent to the driveway providing access to the building.

(c)

Numbers on mailboxes are acceptable under the provisions of this section where the mailbox is clearly associated with the building.

(d)

Numbers painted on curbs are not acceptable as a substitute for the requirements of this section.
